On Monday July 18th, come join us for a FREE 5k group fun run here at Fan Pier followed by a 60-second pitch social event with food & drink on the 14th floor in the MassChallenge space!

We’ve wanted our friends in the Boston running community to come check out this amazing space and see all the innovation coming from the MassChallenge finalists.

Then we thought – what better excuse than getting people together for a run and some drinks afterwards?

Here’s the course; a nice out and back route along the waterfront.  If you run the entire way, it’s 5K (3.1 miles) but you can turn around whenever you want. It’s a fun, flat course and you’ll get a spectacular twilight view of the Boston skyline on your way back.

The Details:
Monday July 18th, 6:30pm, One Marina Park Drive (bldg next to ICA)

Check in with security (this is why we need ya’ to register for this FREE event!) & go to the 14th floor.  Drop off your bag, pick up your name tag and be ready to go by 6:45pm.  We’ll do some easy group stretching outside in the grass, split into groups based on experience and head out on the run. After the run, we’ll head back up to the MassChallenge space for some burritos, beer & Magners and hear 60 second pitches from some of the MassChallenge Startups.

MassChallenge finalists: We’re starting an informal MassChallenge Run Club on Monday evenings to get you out of your cube and into your sneakers.  These runs are for everyone, regardless of ability.  Once per month, these informal runs will be punctuated be a social event with the running community at large.  At this event, we’ll give you the mic for a 60 second pitch followed by a 60 second Q&A with the crowd. More details coming soon but mark down these three dates to join us – July 18, August 22, September 19.
