The 37th Annual Marathon Sports 5 Miler, 7/12/12

Great course, great location, great cause- what more could you ask for? Break up your week with this Thursday evening run at 7 pm at Weston High School. Hosted by Marathon Sports and Brooks Running and benefitting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, this 5 miler boasts a unique course that features a combination of hilly roads, grass, trails, and track. A coed team challenge is available for those interested, along with a kid’s 1-mile run for the youngins in your life. Register Here!

 

VERT- Sasquatch, 7/15/12

This 2.3-mile trail race benefitting Friends of the Fells is the perfect end to your weekend! Taking place at the DCR Middlesex Fells and sponsored by Slumbrew, Pretty Things, and Notch, this event is sure to provide great views and even better refreshments. Registration includes a shirt AND admission to an after party at the Stone Zoo. Running, beer, and a ZOO Party!  Does it get any better than that? RACE Friday 5K Summer Series #3, 7/20/12

Join us for round three of this awesome series of Friday evening 5Ks! The races start at 6:30 p.m. at the DCR’s Artesani Park near Harvard Stadium. Hosted by our non-profit partner RACE – Run Against Cancer Events, these race along the Charles River are professionally chip-timed and fueled by refreshments from Powerade Zero and popchips. Post race field games give you an opportunity to win drink tickets to be used at Tommy Doyle’s, where runners gather post race for 1/2 priced appetizers.Sign up here!

 

Fat Guy 5K, 7/27/12

A free and laid back 5K run created to get Boston’s Innovation District out from behind their desks. The run starts at 4PM and will meet at the Hood Milk bottle by the Children’s Museum. A post race bar crawl is likely, as this crew seems as focused on having fun as they are on running. Register here!
