10/13 – Jennifer’s Run 5K- Lowell, MA
Put on by the UMass-Lowell Track team, some great cash prizes make this one of the fastest 5k fields around. There will be an Olympian in the mix, as Ruben Sanca is on the organizing committee. (He won the race last year). REGISTER
10/14 – Cambridge 5K – Oktoberfest – Cambridge, MA (Kendall Square)
1200+ runners last year, and a heck of a party afterwards. It’ll be twice as big this year. DigBoston recommended it as one of their picks as the Best Boston Oktoberfest celebrations! People were decked out in their German best last year – and it was a rockin’ party. Registration is set to close this Friday, so don’t delay. REGISTER
10/14 – Rome Boulevard Road Race – Attleboro, MA
Bored of running a 5K every weekend? Head to Attleboro for the Rome Boulevard Road Race to solve that issue! Runners can choose from a 5 Mile or 2 Mile course. Cash Prizes to top runners in the 5 Mile race. REGISTER
10/28 – Ashland Half Marathon & 5K – Ashland, MA
If you’re looking for a fall half marathon, look no further! Squanto Productions, the team behind the Half of Quincy half marathon in March, are proud to present a half marathon & 5k starting at Ashland’s Marathon Park, the original starting point of the Boston Marathon. 10/31 – Monster Dash & Bash – Boston, MA (on Boston Common)
This year’s Monster Dash & Bash takes place on Wednesday night, October 31st. This is Boston’s biggest, baddest and wildest Halloween celebration EVER. It’s a 1-mile run/walk around Boston Common followed by a kick-ass party at Liquor Store nightclub with a MECHANICAL BULL! The run/walk is optional but we promise you it’s the most fun you’ll ever have in Boston Common! REGISTER
