Startups Stay Fit – Free 5K Fun Runs!

Once again, the team here at RaceMenu is hosting free 5K fun runs from MassChallenge in the Seaport to connect the running community to the startup community. After each run along the Boston Waterfront, we rehydrate with beer while entrepreneurs elevator-pitch their startups. If you’re an entrepreneur wishing to pitch, please indicate so on the registration form.

 

The dates:

Monday, July 29th – 5k Fun Run starting at 7:00PM
Monday, Aug 19th – 5k Fun Run starting at 7:00PM
Monday, Sept 16th – 5k Fun Run starting at 6:30PM

Where are we running? Here’s the tentative route.We made it an out and back course so you can turn back whenever you’d like, starting and finishing along the water at Fan Pier. Remember, this is not a race, so come out for a run and make some new friends. Make sure to order a ticket to reserve your spot on the guest list. See you there!

Summer Series Scoring Update #2

This is our second scoring update for the 2013 RACE Thursday 5K Summer Series! Listed below are the individual point totals after the second race in the series. (There is a Google doc for female & male point results embedded below; refresh if it didn’t display when you first loaded the page).


2013 Season (6 events) Points Competition:
Top 3 male & female overall (total points from coed/open races)
Top 3 in each age group (total points from all races)
Top 3 fastest teams
Largest team

Scoring points, explained:
Overall winners (female & male) each get 1,000 points. Then we’ll divide the winner’s time by your time and multiply it by 1,000 points to determine your score. Yeah guys, that female behind you may score more points than you.
